Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own data protection terms:

  • our website hosting provider, which serves the pages you request;
  • our email provider, which stores email we send and receive;
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there;
  • professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer, where needed.

Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the grounds for transfers set out in Part VIII of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Client and contract records: for as long as Nigerian company and tax law requires.
  • Update subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

Data we process for our clients

When we build or support a system for a client, such as a school, hotel, clinic or retailer, we may process personal data held in that system, including data about pupils, guests, patients or customers. In that work the client is the data controller and we act as its data processor, only on its documented instructions and under a written agreement. If your data is in a client's system, please contact that organisation first; we will help them respond.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

  • be told how your data is used, and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected, and in some cases deleted;
  • restrict or object to our use of your data, including for direct marketing;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before;
  • receive your data in a portable format, where this applies;
  • complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

To use any of these rights, write to hello@jervextech.com. We will reply within the time the law allows.

Security

We protect personal data with access limited to people who need it, two-step sign-in on our accounts, encrypted connections and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the Commission as the law requires.

Children

This website is not directed at children. Pupils' data in school systems is processed only for the school, as described above.
